Our Story

Axe Struct was founded in 2018 by virtue of passion and desire to achieve absolute efficient PV solar mounting solutions for all applications. Axe Struct is therefore a solar PV mounting structure provider whose services range from planning and short-term delivery to installation support. We think global and work local, as we are a South African company with an international outlook. We understand the installer and client’s needs and use these guidelines to our advantage for product development. Contractors must be able to mount PV solar in any environment with minimum effort at the lowest cost.

Axe Struct has differentiated into three product range sectors. Our standard products are designed for Car Ports, Ground Mounts and Roof Tops. In each sector we have diversified our product offerings for all types of applications. Across all three sectors Axe Struct has supplied mounting structures for over 100 MWp of PV solar panels. Secondary categories include systems for Floating Solar, Roofless and Trackers.

Our manufacturing plants are in South Africa. We occasionally tap into our partnering factories in India and China depending on project location and shipping cost at the time of order. Our core markets are South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Mauritius, Madagascar and Kenya, but we strive to further expand into other African countries. In the near future we are starting sales in Europe with Germany showing the highest need for our products.

Free Structure Design and Engineering Services

We differentiate ourselves from our competitors by adding valued services free of charge with each reasonably sized project. We base all designs on national standards. We also support clients during the commissioning phase to be compliant with the installation requirements for full warranty coverage. We will provide you with Project Specific Installation Manuals and Assembly Guides, Drawing Layouts, Calculate Wind Loads, Profile Sizes, Concrete Base Specifications and much more.

Trust in Our Products

Risk Mitigation is key to Axe Struct’s success and trust in our products. All of our brackets have been testing on the relevant roof sheeting under extreme wind conditions to ensure minimum damage to the roof sheet, integrity of the connection and to identify failure criteria. All structural analysis and designs are conducted by following national standards. Furthermore, all aspects of our products and the advice we offer are insured under professional indemnity cover, public liability, all risk and goods in transit insurance.
